I emailed a friend that has been doing this for a long long time. He does this on a weekly basis with FINRA and the OTC!! He probably has forgotten more than most of us know about this. I asked him if he could help and if he knew anybody that could check if the paper work was filed. Here is his reply For what it is worth. I don't don't think it will take near this long but as you can see it is a lengthy process at times.

xxxx, sorry I do not. I can tell you that regardless of what everyone says, it is a timely procedure and always takes a lot longer than people think. I've seen it take 45 days just for FINRA to respond with comments and they are getting tougher and tougher so you may be looking at 90 - 120 days before you hear anything from them.
