I don't believe that people that want into 4k/UHD will be stopped by a 1,200,000 litigation issue.
If they don't want to pay out completely and let Long Sides use the settlement to close their short position without penalty, they can put the money and the stock into safekeeping with the judge and obtain discovery regarding Long Sides Trading. That way the judge would not have to force the issue. It could be explained on the Balance Sheet adequately and move on.
This is a big transaction and the players are trying to make it be a player from the beginning. This is now out of David's hands. I believe that he has already struck his best deal.
