Met with a family member new to investing who jumped into CTIX recently on my recommendation and as expected he didn't know what to make of last week's correction and the many false messages posted on various boards. My instruction to him was quite simple - You are in this as an investor, not a trader, so don't worry about short term fluctuations. THE ONLY information you have to worry about is if we get formal PR from the company regarding negative results from the clinical trials. Note I said trials, not trial. Even if we get one bad result (which I am not expecting but which has the possibility of occurring) from a trial we are dealing with 2 !! excellent products that should be proven effective or not NLT about June 1. We are winners in this investment if either prove successful. I stressed that no matter what traders or other non-believers in the company, the science behind our products, the mgt, etc. say we will have non questionable empirical data to support our beliefs. I asked him what he thought our SP would be once the PR comes out that we are requesting KEVETRIN be recognized as a Breakthrough Treatment?
Bottom line - Shareprice is virtually meaningless (to him) in this investment anytime prior to June as he is in for the long haul, he can try and time future purchases based on whatever system he deems best to secure lowest prices, but whatever he decides always have in the back of his mind the amount the SP could possibly drop (which I now believe is not too much further) versus the amount it could spike should some sort of positive news appear. I still think we have about a month til any real blockbuster news is forthcoming and I base this on DF making ABSOLUTELY sure of their data before announcing any strong positive results and to me this could occur no earlier than the end of the third cohort. This is strictly my opinion only.
I also believe that the recent one day crash shows why IMO too many people get too hyped when the price is on a good upswing because they then get just as negatively hyped when it is retreating. I expect the price to go thru the roof sometime between now and April - I have told my wife I expect our holdings to increase over $1MM in one day between now and late Spring - so a $1 rise in SP over a couple of days to me is expected and not something to go gaga over. If we jump from $20 to BUYOUT numbers news, which I believe could happen once big pharma realizes the products are legit and they decide to get CTIX as quickly as possible, then I will go gaga myself.
My biggest concern at this time is that big pharma will decide to buy CTIX out prior to late Nov and my holdings will not have become long term for taxation purposes.
The only posts that have me really PO'd over the last week or so are those that try and debunk the science, smear the names of Dr. M and LE, or try and dash the hopes of those with tumors praying that these trials work.
