Hemp seed extract is not the concentrated substance CBD. The hemp seeds and their extract are not illegal.

It did piss me off, however, to see the feds pull a slimy dictatorship style stunt like that with the CBD, given that the versions not containing THC are proving to be so good for so many health related issues and are not psycho-active.

The substance can still be thoroughly studied in government and private labs, regardless of big pharma's ability to patent anything.
It's purely a greed play, with lame excuses offered up to try and justify it.
