You are all getting worked up over the CBD news when there's nothing to get worked up on. Marijuana is schedule 1. They are simply classifying that anything extracted from it still falls under schedule 1. This is standard protocol (unfortunately). But this doesn't mean they still can't make it for states that approve it for medical reasons.

Sessions and Trump are pro 11th Amendment on States rights. He has publicly stated he will leave marijuana up to the states.
