Here's what concerns me about Fred's response and the company's prolonged silence. Both imply that a conscious decision has been made to not build up any trust with current shareholders.

While I completely understand not wanting to discuss business development activities until there's a firm commitment, the company could still (at the very least) issue its financial statements in a timely manner.

This is a publicly-held company. And it's not too much for shareholders to ask that the BOD and management team act like good stewards of a such a company.

Just my two cents.
