My only concern on a reverse split will be how deep they cut. For example, lets say you owned 5,000,000 shares valued at 0004 or $2000. After a 1/1000 split you'd own 5,000 shares and to maintain previous value the stock would have to reopen post split at 40 cents. That's probably not going to happen and then you're also stuck with a measly 5000 shares. Not much to look forward to.
This just happened last week on another stock I have. We all lost everything because the split sucked (1/2500) and somebody adjusted the ticker right before the day's end so it dumped and then split at the dumped price of 0001.
That's what folks are worried about, that it doesn't work out like theory suggests or how it normally would/should happen.
