i wonder if by settlement... he means cor getting the bill....in wich finra would be investigating....and if it was found that cor did owe the bill would the suit still stand....and if cor was not due the bill.... would they keep the halt long enough for cor to sue.....and if cor won the suit....resume trading and use the suit money to cover their short position.....by my understanding the bill was due because of the dividend.... making the halt and the suit closely related?
