That has happened gradually since the introduction of antibiotics. However, isn't B an anti-infective as well, which makes it unlikely to have bugs develop resistance? Don't we have a whole stable of other defensin-mimetics? This was compound 063 and there seemingly were about a hundred others, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.
