Re: thenewalbum #36101
Thenewalbum, you sound like you know what you are talking about...unfortunately. I, for one, am alien to the bureaucratic element of OMB and Windsor, Lakeshore, too, etc. of the socialistic gov. of Canada. Apparently, this is the crap they vote for... And they get it too.
So am I upset prematurely? Do I have reason to wonder, if what you said is true and has standing in terms of when licensure is approved, how the hell can BC say "zoning is not an issue"? At least in terms of buildings 2, 3, and so on and Site #2 as well...if I am understanding it correctly.
Also why didn't he have the Open House in July, a week or so after the raucous Town Council meeting. You know, smell, traffic, guns, etc., to head some of this off and to give some of his supporters some degree of cover?
But if what I heard you say is true, and others are saying 'licensure may very well be contingent upon [council zoning amendments] community support and approval, then why has BC and FITX been dragging their feet? I am specifically referring to more Community support, Local PR blitzing, open houses until no one comes any more (that's the way you wear such opposition down). Not referring to BOD, acquisitions, etc.
I am now just throwing my hands up in the air and saying... this is exactly the reason I am a long. I bought what the FITX will be in 5-7 yrs., not in a week or two so I can flip it and get beer money. THAT thought comforts me. Only more buying opportunities. Just a little frustrated by someone who has a masters degree from law school and not fighting the good PR fight locally, in the trenches, where the battle is going on...but then, it don' matter to me as I bought 5-7 yrs out...ouch...still hurts...
