If you take Tom Bain, the mayor at face value, he said several months. After the July meeting I estimate the zoning amendments will be voted upon in the first week of November. Once Essex approves it, and that process will mainly be a rubber stamp, and IF the current site, which now is Value Added retains that designation, CEN already has submitted an application for a zoning amendment (in this new set of regs it is called site specific). The company first has to send out a public notice for two weeks to those in the area (150 metres) and then the review process begins. It can take up to 90 days but no less than two months plus twenty days so we are realistically looking at late December but more likely January, mid-January before the OMB signs off on it.
The thing to remember is if HC approves the underlying investment principles have not changed, only the time lines. If you invested with an eye towards a long term investment the delays are frustrating but not insurmountable. If you were looking for a quick flip then expect PR's to be issued to keep the share price from eroding too drastically. If you feel they will be a viable investment the time delays simply put off the time to collect on the investment, that is all. If they are going into hemp, medical mj, insurance, stem cell research, hemp cars, etc etc then the delay is merely a hiccup.
