....the peripheral aspect was to highlight that paradigm shifts have an impact on multiple
levels as they converge, evolve, and emerge more competitive......ie Google kept most of
the patents,"to provide some IP protection" in a cost effective manner; Samsung,
(nanotech UHD 4K streaming TVs,(prev post) maybe phones, tablets now)......The ripples continue

Thought someone would make a comment about Sky & Virgin being mentioned in BT transcript, (Q&A pg 6), but alas, we wait on DUTV to deign to tell us something sometime when they're ready

.....think you were correct on your assessment of why Google purchased Motorola, but we still know of another that still needs patent protection.
