Power, highlighted that while many are exploring new options, the few alternatives available often lead customers to stick with their existing insurance providers. - Rate Increases Prompt Increased Shopping: Among those who received an insurer-initiated rate increase, 37% felt compelled to shop for a new policy. Those who do not receive rate increases report satisfaction levels significantly higher, indicating that rising rates correlate with lowered customer satisfaction.
- Shopping Does Not Equate to Switching: Even with a record high in active shoppers, the percentage of homeowners who actually switched insurance policies decreased, from 2.5% to 2.2%.
- Decline in Bundling Rates: In 2024, there is a notable decline in customers bundling their home and auto insurance. Only 21% expressed a likelihood to switch home insurance if they switch auto insurance, down from 24% in previous evaluations.

Following closely were AIG at 680 points and Amica with 679 points. In the renters insurance segment, Erie Insurance took the lead with a score of 713, while Amica and Lemonade followed with scores of 695 and 682, respectively.
