Premier Private Jets Enhances Services in Dayton and Beyond
Premier is pursuing a growth strategy aimed at expanding business aviation services across various regions.
Premier Private Jets, a comprehensive provider of charter, FBO, and MRO services, is significantly expanding its operations in Dayton. This move allows Premier to respond to the increasing demand for business aviation services and enhance its overall capabilities.
According to Premier CEO Josh Birmingham, “With growing traffic at PremierMRO in Dayton and increasing business aviation traffic overall, we are excited to introduce new FBO capabilities. By acquiring ASI, we will enhance our maintenance capacity for both local operators and transient traffic.”
The Value of the ASI Acquisition
Bringing ASI into the fold is a strategic decision that Premier is celebrating. Birmingham emphasizes the human aspect of this acquisition, stating, “An FBO is not just about fuel trucks and waiting lounges. It is the skilled employees who ensure safe and effective aircraft handling, leading to an exceptional customer experience.”
PremierMRO Expansion
In late 2023, Premier acquired a major MRO base that was at risk of closure. Since then, the turnaround has been impressive, with the company preserving the essential roles of the skilled workforce at the facility.
At PremierMRO in Dayton, a range of services are available, including airframe, engine, avionics, paint, and interior services. The company has formed partnerships with upgrade suppliers for cutting-edge systems like Garmin and Universal aviation technologies.
The existing small FBO at this MRO will be transitioned to the larger ASI facility, allowing for expanded services and increased operational efficiencies.
A Legacy of Service
ASI has a long-standing reputation in serving business aircraft for over 67 years, establishing trusted relationships with operators across the nation. Its facility features 20,000 square feet of hangar and office space, plus a substantial ramp area, enabling it to accommodate even the largest private jets.
Premier is committed to preserving jobs at ASI and will welcome the talented team, under the leadership of General Manager Matthew Spaugy, into its expanding family.
Enhancements for Larger Aircraft
Furthermore, Premier will bolster its operations to support larger commercial aircraft, such as those for sports team travel during significant events. This includes introducing new equipment like belt loaders, stairs, de-icing tools, and additional ground power units.
Located at the closest access point with quick runway availability, ASI, along with the established maintenance operations of Premier, forms a comprehensive aviation hub.
As part of the PremierFBO network, ASI will join an existing FBO located in the Detroit area at the Oakland County International Airport. Premier also maintains a smaller maintenance facility in Florida.
Charter Operations and Offerings
In addition to its FBO and MRO services, Premier operates a distinguished charter service featuring Hawker 800-series and Cessna Citation aircraft. The company offers innovative programs like a jet card solution and the Florida Express Club, providing accessible flight options for frequent travelers.
About Premier Private Jets
Founded in 2013 and based in Stuart, Premier Private Jets has built an exceptional fleet of light and mid-size jets, all equipped with Wi-Fi and modern designs. With dedicated repair stations in both Dayton and Stuart and additional FBO services available, the company is poised to deliver top-notch aviation experiences.
