How do I use the Breathometer device correctly?
It is very easy to use, just open the Breathometer mobile app on your smartphone, plug the Breathometer device into the audio jack of the smartphone and when prompted, blow for 5 seconds directly at the LED illuminated hole. Breathometer will do the rest.

We are able to measure your blood alcohol concentration just like other devices on the market. To be specific-The ratio of breath alcohol to blood alcohol is approximately 2,100:1. This means that 2,100 mL of alveolar air contains the same amount of alcohol as 1 ml of blood. Using this ratio, measurements from the breath can be used to calculate a respective level of intoxication.
Where can I store the Breathometer device when I receive it?
Because of the small size of the Breathometer device it can be stored in a multitude of places. We would suggest that you carry it on your person, we have provided a keyring hole for you to easily carry it in a pocket, purse or on your keyring.
What if the Breathometer gets wet? Will it still work?
The Breathometer device is a hardware device like a cell phone so you should keep it safe and dry at all times. If it does get wet and no longer functions correctly, please contact customer service.
How long do I need to blow into the Breathometer device to get an accurate BAC level reading?
Breathometer suggests at that you should blow into the device for 5 seconds or longer for an accurate BAC level reading.
