Northrop Grumman Announces Release of e.POWER(R) 8.2 Business Process Software

FALLS CHURCH, Va., – Sept. 12, 2013 – Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC ) announced the release of e.POWER® 8.2, the latest version of its business process software that's further helping customers drive down costs and improve process efficiencies. The new version supports the most current operating systems and platforms and is highly configurable to quickly meet customer mission needs.

e.POWER® is the most widely deployed business process management solution in the federal government. It automates business-critical processes across state and local governments as well as private industry. By using e.POWER ®, organizations can eliminate paper and automate a wide range of processes.

"In today's fiscally tight environment, it's critical that we innovate to provide customers with more affordable and efficient ways to serve their mission needs," said Sam Abbate, vice president, Federal Mission Programs, Federal and Defense Technologies Division, Northrop Grumman Information Systems. "e.POWER® 8.2 allows agencies to shorten processing cycles and reduce errors while increasing mission efficiency and lowering costs. The highly flexible nature of e.POWER® 8.2 allows customers to quickly configure the software to meet their dynamic business requirements."

One of the key new enhancements of e.POWER® 8.2 is integration with the FedRAMP-certified Amazon Cloud. By leveraging Amazon platform enhancements, e.POWER® is further driving down customer costs through the use of shared storage, shared database, secure email and auto-scaling. Another important improvement is the software's ability to interface with one or more content management or records management repositories such as OpenText, Documentum, SharePoint and other products that support the Content Management Interoperability Standard (CMIS). Customers benefit by reusing existing enterprise content in solutions powered by e.POWER's rich workflow capability.

e.POWER® is currently in use at agencies across the federal government including the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the Defense Contract Management Agency and the Federal Aviation Administration.
