I am disgusted with the way so many stockholders have trashed Leo and Dr M regarding the new acquisition and the handling of the Prurisol trial. For the last 10 months or so all I heard was the singing of their praises, now I find out we have about 20 CEO caliber people on the CTIX boards that could really show Leo how to run a company. What is most appalling is that many have not had the common courtesy to allow Leo and Dr M to explain their actions and provide some background info as to what is progressing with the company as to these changes without a 20 minute limit. The lack of respect would set my teeth on edge if I was them.
I hope Leo and Dr M are better people than me for when somebody questions my attention to duty and basically my honor, I never forget and I never forgive. I would probably, going forward, give out a lot of "no comments" and issue information only as required by SEC rules. They really don't need us, we obviously don't appreciate them, so why spend a lot of time communicating. Dr M hobnobs with the greatest minds in American Medicine, yet we have many telling him how his Prurisol should be shepherded thru trials. Leo is a financial expert, yet he obviously went on a reckless spending spree that has now put the company in financial jeopardy according to many. This even after he made a joke at the presentation about no reverse split and continual comments saying no financial worries and he was bursting at the seams by all who saw him in person regarding what a coup this acquisition was for CTIX. A tremendous upgrade for Kard facilities, a new molecule development program of some type that could be remarkable, robust new pipeline of products, and all acquired for pennies on the dollar. What the hell could that idiot have been thinking to make a deal like that?
Seriously?
I see a few months of quiet time and I think I will back off the IHUB board due to the constant wailing that will be going on there as the stock price rises and falls.
I will make a prediction that within a few months some dramatic FURTHER good word will be given and those trashing mgt now will once again be singing their praises, acting as though nothing negative ever occurred, but I believe in the saying "a thing of beauty, once broken, can never be regained". Such it is with the relationship between mgt and many who claimed to be their supporters.
