I know what you mean-1 ship was ca 11 days in port-interrupted by containers multiple times,and had to wait 3-4 days for its turn once it arrived in port. So hopefully thats largely remedied, as Bingo indicates, because my biggest concern is whether that would factor into a buyers decision as to what port/supplier to use. Who pays for the extra ship time or is it a flat rate? One can rent a Panamax from what I've seen for 3 months at 1300-1700/day,wonder what fee structure prevails on these onetime ship contracts.
