SEATTLE, June 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Baristas Coffee Company, Inc. (OTCPK: BCCI), a fast growing U.S. based beverage and branded products company, announced today that its newly created ice cream bars are being warehoused and distributed by Puget Sound Dairy Distributors, Inc., in the greater Seattle area.
Puget Sound Dairy Distributors, Inc. (PSD) already carries other ice cream novelty brands such as Ben & Jerry's, Klondike, Good Humor, Oreo, Snickers, La Michoacana, and Popsicle. Under the arrangement, PSD currently warehouses and delivers "Baristas Coffee Creations" and other Dairy products to all of the Baristas Coffee locations in the region and will be expanding its distribution to additional locations as well.
Commenting on the distribution agreement, Baristas CEO Barry Henthorn expressed, "Having a local partner to house and distribute our ice cream products was an important step in expanding the availability of our premium ice cream product to the public in our home region. We can now focus on the promotion and expansion of the product having worked through the logistical details of shipping, warehousing, and delivery of this truly unique confection. The ice cream has already contributed to our revenues and bottom line and this proven relationship will aid us in increasing sales and availability. It has also allowed us to work out our process which has helped with our negotiations with additional distributors locally and other regions."
