SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- (Marketwire) -- 08/16/12
Green Planet Group , Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GNPG) announced today that it has completed a farming test of its XenTx (pronounced "Zen-tex") diesel fuel additive in northern California. The farm, which was founded in 1918, grows superior, quality, fresh, delicious, pesticide-free and organic products year-round. The farm has a well-known reputation and a genuine commitment to consistently provide customers with the most value at the least impact to the environment.
Based upon recent tests, mileage on farm equipment went from 4.0 miles per gallon (MPG) to 4.6 MPG which is an improvement of 15%. Weekly, diesel fuel costs are $300,000 -- therefore creating savings in fuel costs of $45,000 per week. Annual savings will be approximately $2.25 million with a net savings of almost $2.0 million. Equally important, the farm equipment will perform the same tasks and consume 164,000 gallons less diesel fuel. The positive impact on the environment is a significant reduction in emissions contaminants being released into the atmosphere.
The farm's Operations Manager stated, "This is part of our mission -- to continually improve our farm's performance while respecting the environment. XenTx has proven that it clearly meets these objectives."
Edmond L. Lonergan, President & CEO of Green Planet Group, stated, "We are grateful for the opportunity to demonstrate the benefits of our XenTx technologies and look forward to a long and mutually profitable relationship." For more information on XenTx, please visit www.xentxsynergyn.com .
