An example of the practical problems most never think of. 2 billion live on 2/day or less. Mex govt is forever broke so tried to confiscate port ore to balance budget.
Rich are always targeted, esp in  3rd world countries. When my late friend was going to visit the mine yrs ago,his brother who lives in CA but also has a place in Mexico advised against it, saying there had been a raft of kidnappings of rich americans- any gringo not part of the local landscape(as Bob was) might be mistaken for rich-anything to make a buck right? where most are barely living.

Ensenada has been widely reputed to be unusually safe because its a hard currency cash cow tourist trap for govt-violence reduces tourism-so govt presumably guards Ensenada w extra police /Military presence-and Navy has a terminal there .

But my dd discovered that Brads wife was 1 of ca hundreds who recently signed an Ensenada public newspaper complaint against the corruption and kidnappings etc in Ensenada- that tells me Brad is aware of the problem.

NAVIAL IS PRIVATE-now Brad/CWRN/KMG IS PUBLIC.
So brad may be rethinking and changing living arrangements-opening a residence in Ensenada area- not just because of his part in CWRN but for the safety of his family upgrading the safety of any residence or moving to a new residence. He already owned millions of hectares concessions but in his wifes name so it may not have been widely known that he had means and he may not have had a residence in the area before.
