I was ten when Dolby first released She Blinded Me with Science. I was a geek even back then. But a misfit, too, getting into all sorts of fights at school. And always with boys. Got swatted by my teacher for throwing a chair at one boy (devil child) who seemed to take great pleasure in taunting me. Finally I got enough and so one day I beat his ass and threw the chair in for good measure.
Fights with boys after that seemed to just fall into my lap.
I digress... love that song! Great to skate to.
