My take on Paul's post was that the "messenger" in this case would be the person bearing the message that the company is a bad investment (I am choosing my words carefully), but essentially the negative message that misrepresentation has occurred, that company-promulgated or posted information is wrong, that oil cannot be made from plastic for $10/ barrel, etc.... My take on it was, do not make it personal against the person bearing the message. Such things should have some backup yes, but then again, if this is an anonymous message board, there are limits to what true backup can be provided. In my books, personal opinion gained from experience is abotu the best backup that can be provided. It is either credible or believable or not. Up to the reader to decide.
