As vice president of business development, Tina M. Vidal oversees the evaluation of mergers and acquisitions and executes integration strategies for facilities acquired by Pacer Corporation.
Vidal previously served as Pacer?s chief operating officer, non-medical division, to assist with the acquisition and integration of non-medical facilities into the Pacer portfolio. During this time, she successfully integrated Brick Mountain Logistics, LLC into the company and turned around losses from $2.4 million a year to $1.2 million per year in less than six months. Prior to that, Vidal served as Pacer?s director of corporate operations. In this role she assisted in increasing revenue from less than $100,000 to approximately $30 million in less than three years, generated leads for company acquisitions, oversaw the management and development of the corporate office and Pacer?s facilities, developed marketing initiatives for the company and its subsidiaries and oversaw the initial rebuild effort of South Cameron Memorial Hospital after the facility was destroyed by Hurricane Rita in September 2005, a construction project totaling approximately $25 million.
While serving as Pacer?s director of corporate operations, Vidal also acted as the interim CEO for Minnie G. Boswell Memorial Hospital, a former Pacer facility, for a period of eight months. During that time she reduced losses by over $500,000, recruited five new physicians to the facility including an orthopedic surgeon, an ear, nose, and throat and facial plastic surgeon, a radiologist, a podiatrist, and a pediatrician. She increased volume in all areas of the hospital by over 50% and improved physician relations.
Vidal began working for Pacer Corporation since its inception. She holds a bachelor?s degree in international business and marketing, magna cum laude, and a master?s degree in international business, summa cum laude, from Florida International University, in Miami, Florida
