Forgery case: Deputy chief whip first Mizoram MLA to be jailed The deputy chief whip of the ruling Congress in Mizoram assembly became first legislator in the state to be jailed following his surrender in a forgery case on Thursday. R L Pianmawia spent a night in jail and was released on bail by the court of chief judicial magistrate in Aizawl on Friday.
