Clamour for Union Territory status for Hyderabad Wednesday may have ended with the Congress core committee failing to reach a final decision on the statehood issue. But, back home, the city’s ‘settler’ population seemed to have made its choice: Telangana or no Telangana, Hyderabad should be given Union Territory status.
