Technicals work, period. But one would be a fool not to look at fundamentals when not planning on trading a stock and building a huge position. A tech trader can not accumulate 50 - 100 mil shares of a penny stock as he is there to trade and would be unable to exit in a reasonable timeframe. A long term investor building a position of size needs tremendous underlying fundamentals that will grow the stock for months and quarters allowing such an investor the opportunity to gradually liquidate on the way up. I use charts on every stock to find an entry point and exit point. In the case of MPIX, I have no plans on selling any shares in the near term. Once the stock begins trading much higher, that's when the technicals will really come into play, and the fun begins.
