Gunpowder Gold Releases Additional Assays

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Gunpowder Gold Corporation (OTCBB: GUNP) ("Gunpowder" or the "Company") is pleased to announce further results from its sampling program on the newly acquired claims in the Dome Rock Gold Project in La Paz County, Arizona.

Gunpowder expects to receive assay results from the southern block sampling program, as well as sediment sampling results within the week.  The company remains on target to advance the project to the next phase of its exploration program in the first quarter of 2012.
