Taking it personally? Whatchoo talkin' about? I just pointed out that people don't have to use linear thinking about where to live -- there can be MULTIPLE places to live. One thing people do sometimes is have a "home base" for one season, either summer or winter, and then RENT in various places during the other major season, to see if they REALLY would be happy living there over the longer term. I know some people who decided to "snowbird" in Tucson area, and decided after two years of renting that it was not for them. Much better than buying and being stuck with a mistaken decision.
