Pink sheet....I keep forgetting to bring that up, so I can't say for sure, but according to some posts I have been reading, that distinction doesn't really mean what it used to .................
Grades......figure it like this. Let's say we need a grade of 90 or above. When we submitted the "test" the last time, the teacher didn't say "you failed....you will have to do 3rd grade all over again." - as she has said for all of our other submissions. No......instead, this time the teacher said "you've done much better but you are not there yet. These are the areas that you need to improve in order to graduate. Take the test home, make the corrections, and bring it back to me Monday morning." So...it is not a resubmission...it is more like a correction of some weak areas....and apparently, there is a general, hearsay belief that very recently the teacher has winked and given the thumbs up......but just hasn't put the grade on the paper yet..............
May I add.....having made my calls, I do feel more confident. I like when two different Tituba's tell me the same thing and do so in a different way and in their own words....so now I know for sure we received good word from the FAA today AND on more than just one topic.....
On the human side of it.....you know how when you get together with family and friends and they ask you how Baltia is doing....and you feel like a complete idiot.....well.....imagine hearing that every day...10 to 100 times a day....from EVERYONE......and it starts when you open your eyes in the morning and your spouse asks you that question before anything else. You see........everyone inside Baltia gets this everyday, all day long....I only get it maybe once or twice a week....but for them it gets to the point that even their kid's goldfish looks at them sideways and seems like it is asking them if and when Baltia will fly...........
Again....any one of the Baltia employees wants this more than ALL of us combined........and I like to hear that level of commitment.....not just from the sugar-coater ID, not just from BC, but from the lower ranks as well................
Oh, one last thing.....Facebook comments....they have been avoiding them so as not to be accused of "fluffing"..in other words (or in Hawk's words)....they don't want to say anything unless they can back it up with FACT....unless they are in control of the TIMELINE. So yes....they heard really good news today....but nothing they can provide a "link" to...........
And too much "fluff" and you start to be doubted.....and too much "fluff" would detract from the real PRs when they come out......reducing their impact........
I guess it is the case of the boy who cried wolf..............
That being said, I still pushed for something on facebook to let us all know Baltia is still alive......
such as.........
"We received some very good news today. We can't disclose the nature of the news but we feel confident that things are moving in the right direction and we will provide more details when we can and when the time is right."
- heck, I like that type of comment more than the (now 3 weeks old) "very VERY SOON" bs comment..........
