sounds like creditors gained controlling interest in return for discharging/eliminating the debt or much of it
so the bank, whoever the bank is, not necessarily an actual bank, may have received bob/sharons 2 billion insider shares in return for 4-5 million debt and additional consideration to Bob and Sharon to allow them to pay their debts and have something to live on or even retire on
