For what its worth, and what I've learned here & elsewhere... my thoughts are strongly this: Herd mentality is very dangerous.. it begets blind faith. I am not in an "i told you so" position nor would I ever play that roll, I didn't tell anyone so, and I cant/wont going forward. But I was skeptical after the JC thing. I was skeptical about how clean we were supposedly going through this.
What exactly did WE win? No one wanted to hear a thing from me or anyone else.... or even entertain anything other than - we will be victorious, JC has nothing. Then the rescind does in fact happen... no red flags for a lot of people?? were moving forward!! now a Q with no revs... honestly wtf is the big surprise here? Just a week ago I was expressing my confusion about what exactly we own/ what are we making $$ on... I actually thought this Q might be safe but the next?? and so on??... The one person that answered me acted as if confusion or doubt was unthinkable at this point. "we have A, B, & C now, D & E coming whats your confusion?" so matter of fact are cases like these that I question my skeptical side here and there.... What is disturbing,,REALLY disturbing through all of this is the fact that so many refuse to look back. the ones that do are negative, dismissed or bashers (unfortunately some people with great tough questions post them harshly or have no class and are then dismissed as well)
This isn't about me, no pats on my back, I've screwed up plenty but thankfully have LEARNED. This is a good board, I was honestly looking fwd to making $$ and meeting a lot of you!! I just hope we all get better at what we do. I got lucky here, yes I trusted my instincts and relied on what I've learned... BUT ALMOST DID NOT!!
I certainly don't have all the answers or foresight... I did have one thing these last few months - UNCERTAINTY. This caused me to reduce to less than 10% of my max holding and thankfully PNCH doesn't owe me a dime.
No.. maybe... not sure... some doubts... ALL = DONT DO IT.
Finally, im not saying this is over, or offering an opinion. that's easy for me to say in my "No sweat" position im holding. I feel for the deep pockets here, hope you get it all back and then some, and certainly hope this could still be a winner.
