The movie “Field of Dreams” is an all-time favorite of mine, and for countless others as well. It resonates on so many levels. The ending when the main character, played by Kevin Costner, asks his Dad if he wants to ‘have a catch’, is gut wrenching. I don’t know about you but I cried my eyes out. Couldn’t help it. Ray had an acrimonious relationship w/ his father and never reconciled. Ray failed to understand the estrangement was the source of his father’s pain. Ray’s compulsion to build the baseball field was subconsciously motivated by his wanting to see his father again, and reconcile. Pure and beautiful.
On a personal note, I had a similar experience resulting in me barely speaking a word to my father for over 20 yrs. So much anger. It was the sixties. We never ‘had a catch’ or little else for that matter. Over the years we slowly worked things out but it was very hard to do. At the end of the day, I understood we were exactly the same. We were both living life for the first time. I would give anything just to see, and talk, to my Dad again. When I finally do move on to the ‘Great Beyond’ it will be my Dad who will be there waiting. I know it.
In the video clip below, at the 4 min mark, the speaker mentions Don Buford. I would bet ‘dollars to donuts’ it is the same Dr. Don Buford, https://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-don-buford-xvsw4 mentioned. If it is, I think it so so cool he would be a participant in the 25th anniversary of a really fine movie, Field of Dreams.

The two recurring tag lines in the movie are, “If you build it, he will come”, and “Ease his pain”. In a sense, that is precisely what BIEL and Electrome are doing. We are building it, and yes, they will some, in droves, once the general population understands what is at stake. Easing the Pain for the ones we love. Prior to this partnership the choices were few and far between; pills and/or surgery. There is a better way and we, the investors, are making this happen. I couldn’t be happier to be associated w/ the good people who are making this happen. Dr. Buford’s specialty is Regenerative Medicine. Let’s end the pattern of destruction (e.g. - opioid poisoning) and move onto Regeneration. It’s time.
It’s only a matter of time. Still waters run deep. There is a reason for everything.
