Quantum BioPharma (NASDAQ: QNTM) (CSE: QNTM) reported second-quarter 2026 financial and operational results, including a 53% year-over-year reduction in operating expenses to $2.29 million and a 47% decrease in general and administrative expenses to $1.76 million. Combined cash, cash equivalents and digital assets totaled approximately $9.5 million as of June 30, up from $4.1 million at Dec. 31, 2025, with management stating that current liquidity is sufficient to fund planned operations to at least October 2027 assuming the first-half 2026 cash burn rate. Subsequent to quarter-end, the FDA approved Quantum’s Investigational New Drug (“IND”) application for Lucid-MS, clearing the company to proceed with a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 2 clinical trial in patients with progressive multiple sclerosis.
