Kgem some good info there about underwater tree harvesting in the US. This is my thinking on that- This administration is hell bent on slowing down oil and natural gas drilling for environmental reasons. Why I don't understand. T. Boone Pickens has said we could be the world's leader in energy, but not with our current EPA. Much to "green" and liberal. Now enter HIMR and underwater tree harvesting. Can there be anything more environmentally sound than protecting our living forests, thus protecting our owls and who knows what else. So if HIMR and NorthCal can make the EPA understand the many "green" advantages to this type of harvesting, who knows what slack they may give us-maybe even some stimulus. But I just as soon not have tax payers money-don't think we will need it. So I know there would normally be more red tape and costs harvesting in the US, but if the right politicians buy in, this could be a much smoother operations than we think. Hope some of our people can get the word to the EPA of the good things that will happen with underwater tree harvesting. Just my thoughts, who knows.
