Speaking of Scott Gottlieb, M.D. Former head of the FDA has recently tied his wagon to Xaira Therapeutics (launched April 2024) with a large purse of $1BN to open shop.
The company marches to the tune of Marc Tessier-Lavigne, PhD, formerly the President of Standford U. and former CSO of Genentech.
On a side note,...the Antibody drug market is expected to reach $445BN in the next five years.
There are over 160 antibodies currently licensed Globally for a wide breath of conditions including Cancer and Autoimmune diseases...sounds familiar.
