The doctors would not be held liable unless they didn't outline potential risks. Hospitals are signing up to join the trials. Patients may be reluctant to sign up for an "experimental" drug unless there's nowhere else to turn. We have a good idea of what leronlimab can do, but the doctors are going to be a bit risk adverse in touting the potential benefits.
