I have listened a couple of times to the podcast a
Post# of 1037
Your (i.e. MicroCaps) summary is good. So the general additions of my initial understanding is that:
1. They are operating in a very challenging logistical environment. This very negatively impacts their schedule and their financial burns.
2. They are investigating possible ways to increasing production. The framing of this effort seems to softly imply that they have some production-capable results now. For example, it is difficult to increase production-capability unless they already have some production-capability now. Their textual summary states "These results confirm that our targeted perforation and stimulation were successful".
So I may be overreading or overhearing their statements, but it comes to my ears in several places within the podcast. If I am understanding this correctly then this is the best news I have ever heard from this company!
Just to be clear, I am understanding that there is production-capable results, but not currently in on-going production. Furthermore, it seems to be implied that the current production-capability would be underwhelming.
3. No expectations have been set for when the testing could be completed and, if successful, when production could be expected to follow. I personally had hoped they would be in at least small production by the end of summer. The tenor and the way the status is presented leads me to believe that it is unlikely that on-going production (even on a small scale) will occur until the end of 2025 or, more likely, into 2026. Probably the major bullet item is, "Please be patient"
4. At ~7:05 the comment is made that, "this is the best situation that Zion has been in the history of the company so far". I find that rather stunning. I guess it depends on how a person interprets that statement. Since I don't think this was false bravado, I was pleasantly encouraged by this comment and the ensuing discussion.
5. This company now has the approval to issue 1.6 billion shares, I question the ability of this penny stock to raise funds. The SEC documentation indicates they are confident that they have sufficient funds for the rest of the year, but does that include a significant amount of 2026? I guess we will just have to stay tuned!
