Over & over again Steve has talked about share structure & explained how they are using the shares. He's also explained that many successful media companies have more shares out than we do.
He is openly using shares to build the company. You don't like it. I get it. But don't act like he denies it.
Most CEOs don't communicate with shareholders at all. Steve does it regularly. He's also made it clear that the plan for this company is evolving.
He was completely transparent about Punch TV. He has been & continues to be completely transparent about ClearVision. Those are the 2 biggest assets.
A year ago Punch TV was not part of the equation. Then boom. We owned Punch TV. Yes, a lot of shares were needed to make that happen. We could have had a smaller share structure & no Punch TV. I'm glad we have Punch TV.
That is his strategy. He's open about it. Steve has implied that there will be more surprises & therefore, more shares in the future.
Our weakness is a lack of operating cash. So shares are the alternative.
If you believe in what Steve & Joseph are doing, then the strategy makes complete sense.
