At the SMC website they have a number of mouse models https://www.smccro-lab.com/modellineup/ . The STAM model was used before and this PR indicates that it will be used again. It has timelines of https://www.smccro-lab.com/Immuno-oncology/images/img02.jpg with fibrosis becoming evident in week 9. The recently completed study ran for 12 weeks so to me I can see them perhaps wanting to go a little longer with this new study which also tests an additional combination with a GLP-1 agonist. (If they ran 12 weeks it would be end of January)
Since the PR indicates "Both follow-up studies are underway, with results expected in early 2025", I think the second study with a "model of liver fibrosis driven by CCL4 toxicity" may be this one https://www.smccro-lab.com/modellineup/ccl4-i...sis-model/ where "the test period can be as short as four weeks".
