What caused that one monkey to resume making leronlimab after all the antibodies against leronlimab were depleted and once leronlimab was being made again, why did those antibodies not return?
The body will naturally make antibodies against any non-recognized foreign protein. It's how vaccines work. The strength of that response is going to determine how well AAV leronlimab will work. Leronlimab itself can temper an overactive antibody response and in the third monkey that recovered full leronlimab production that's probably what happened. The monkey that didn't recover full production obviously has a strong antibody response and over a longer period of time could start recognizing leronlimab as self and lower antibody production.
