I honestly don't mind the off-topic convos when there's a news lull. So you won't find me deleting much. But I also get why others -- who come here for juicy scientific stuff -- get irked.

I could sell my CYDY tomorrow and buy a decent car, but I am content to roll around town in my '93 Jeep with no doors (while the wife has the nice wheels) so all my free cash can add to my share count.
