Ohm20, you make several good points in that post, all of which I agree with and I think your quote above is a pivotal piece. The glymphatic system, which is essentially the drainage entity for the brain and increases in fluid volume while dreaming is necessary for cleansing metabolic products. Kind of like taking your brain through the car wash at night. Any impedance of this mechanism, which would occur from immune mediated inflammation, would allow for the buildup of precursors and proteins related to amyloid.
