The way I interpret that quote from Dr. Jay is that after our past fumbled clinical trials that we only have the immediate funds to take a shot at performing one more clinical trial and proving Leronlimab to the world. That's our "last bite," as it were.
Now, that doesn't mean a partner won't come in or we get an Amarex payday that allows us to buy a whole crate of apples and bite 'em until our hearts content.
Again, it's an odd quote for Sam to use as a "good luck." It's like meeting an old lady with an adorable cat and saying "Nice cat you got there but he's used up 8 lives so be careful, he's only got 1 left." Weird sentiment from someone who claims to likes cats.
