The DOJ is alleging Chris Sandburg was a pen name for a guy whose real name is Mike Sheikh and he was allegedly paid by said ceo in August 2021 to write a false narrative. Its chock full of things that will piss you off.

• An article published on August 1, 2021 on the website insiderfinancial.com titled
“CytoDyn (CYDY) Shorts Throttle Up Bashing Ahead of August Super News Cycle”.6
The article was purportedly written by “Chris Sandburg” but was actually written by Mike
Sheikh. The article was written at the direction of Pourhassan and paid for using CYDY
company funds. In addition to making false and misleading claims about the HIV BLA,
the article also makes false and misleading claims about the status of the investigations into
CytoDyn and Pourhassan by the SEC and DOJ. Among other things, the article falsely
claims that the SEC “had moved on and completed their probe”. The article also falsely
claims that the DOJ investigation was not focused on CYDY executives, like Pourhassan,
but on short sellers.
• A CytoDyn press release issued on October 7, 2021 titled “CytoDyn Announces Legal
Actions Against its Former CRO, Amarex Clinical Research”. The entirety of the press

release is false and misleading, including a quotation that was attributed directly to
Pourhassan.
• A declaration signed by Pourhassan under penalty of perjury that was filed on October 4,
2021 in the District of Maryland in the case captioned CytoDyn Inc. v. Amarex Clinical
Research, LLC, et al., Civil Action No. 21-2533 (ECF 6-2).
