In low tech or assembled products China is going to be cheaper, but companies based outside of China are pulling their manufacturing out of China and moving it to Vietnam, Thailand and India because of CCP policies.

Elon Musk is learning the hard way after building a manufacturing plant in China. China gave BYD and Xiaomi huge state subsidies to build electrical vehicles. But like most State subsidized projects it's all a façade and shoddy construction. EV vehicles going up in flames, empty cities full of half-finished apartment buildings that are falling down, mountains of scrapped EV scooters whose leaking lithium batteries are causing environmental damage.

The widespread corruption endemic to totalitarian regimes is causing China's economy to collapse.

I wouldn't trust any drug made in China or even food. The amount of adulteration done just to make a few bucks is astounding. Food cooked in gutter oil, baby formula that kills children, soy sauce made from human hair and the list is endless.
