Cashclan...excellent posting i must say. I recall 10hr shifts standing and surface grinding like 3 to 4 tools and at the end of each day having to stand and screwing those damn wheels in and out. I didn't work in minutes but had to generally hold between 2-4 thousand's of an inch. I would wonder each night how I would sleep as some nights I would wake up sweating and thinking was i running the feed/wheels to fast which cause sparks which is heat which is also expansion of production tools, sweating and thinking when the tools cold down they would be undersized on the tolerances. The company wanted to move my household to North Carolina cost free, bonus and of course other nice things but I told them I could not move family under my circumstances.
