But... how would you like to go out and run a trial and have to explain to doctors and patients that well here's the deal there's this little safety hold on the drug being trialed but wait stay on the line because it's only HIV that the drug is on hold for it's really perfectly safe for other indications seriously sir it is perfectly... sir? sir? No one is going to run a trial till they lift the hold. That makes sense. Now why the FDA hasn't lifted the hold -- that's a mystery wrapped in an enigmatic riddle printed with dollar signs.
