SEC v Magna update:
Marc Manuel settle with SEC before NYSD Magistrate Judge Stewart Aaron 17 August.
Josh Sason and the other Magna defendants will settle with SEC before NYSD Magistrate Judge Stewart Aaron 7 September.
Joint Pre-trial Order to be issued NLT 7 October.
Next update expected 25 August.
Reminder that Magna defendents have already been found guilty on a number of counts via summary judgment. However, a few key charges against Sason that are important to the level of relief AMBS might enjoy, are left for trial or settlement. My read is that given the guilt found already, SEC will first pressure Manuel to squeal on Sason before sitting with Sason for final settlement decision. We may end up going to trial, but the degree to which we get the crooks will likely wrap up in September.
