The pourhassan indictment is for criminal fraud.
People who bought shares during a specific time were defrauded. Shareholders are the victims of the criminal fraud, and the shareholders' remedy is civil court, probably state court.
I think this is a good development for people who bought shares and lost money. They can sue Cytodyn, Amarex, and possibly Amarex's parent (deep pockets!).
The Pourhassan indictment may depress the cytodyn share price as investors (and potential partners/acquirers) recognize the potential for cytodyn's civil liability, which could be billions of dollars.
Impact to the cytodyn share price could be minimal to even zero as the current management 1) must have seen the indictment coming from a million miles away, and 2) must have taken action to mitigate fallout from the indictment.
